Beth Markey – Performer
Beth studied Drama at the University of Lincoln, and has also trained with the National Youth Theatre. Beth works as a freelance theatre maker, actor musician and workshop facilitator. Alongside Rhubarb, Beth co-runs children’s theatre company Under The Bed Theatre, who are based in Northampton. Beth loves singing and dancing, and having lots of fun with Rhubarb! If Beth was a food she would be Spaghetti!
Beth Cresswell – Performer
Beth is a dance teacher, lecturer and adjudicator who also owns her own dance school. She has choreographed various shows, festivals and promotional work. Beth has worked with Rhubarb Theatre since the beginning on workshops, choreographing shows and delivering a play in a day. She now does walkabout and street shows and anything silly!
James Hall – Performer
James studied Performing Arts at Hull University and joined Rhubarb in 2014. His background is in Contemporary Movement and he loves discovering new ways to move in character. If James could be any animal he would be a hammerhead shark (though he doesn’t say why) and one of his greatest achievements is winning a dog show competing as a dog…
Felicity Donnelly – Performer and Marketing
Felicity graduated from the University of Lincoln with a First-Class Honours Degree in Drama in 2018 and has been working as a freelance artist since. Alongside Rhubarb, she is also touring with Stand By Theatre Company in their physical theatre show and a performer and choreographer of Bleeding Edge Theatre Company. Felicity has always enjoyed watching and being in children’s theatre and loves playing very silly characters!
Georgina Weller – Performer
Georgina studied Drama in the Community at Bishop Grosseteste University and graduated in 2014. Since then she has worked with diverse community groups throughout Lincolnshire. She has also worked as a performer for theatre companies across the East Midlands, such as, Curious Creations, Stand by Theatre and Markmark Productions. If she could be any fruit it would be a pineapple! She is very happy to be apart of the Rhubarb silliness!
Jason Addison – Associate Lighting Designer
Jason is from Lincoln but has recently moved to Hull and is currently Technician at Hull Truck Theatre as well as a freelance Lighting Designer and Production Electrician.
He is an Associate Lighting Designer at Chapterhouse Theatre Company, Rhubarb Theatre and Rich Seam Theatre Company. He is also Technical Manager for The Herd Theatre based in Hull; Lighting and Technical Managing their productions. Jason is a Member of the Association of Lighting Designers (ALD) and the Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT) He began his professional career in 2005 with Chapterhouse Theatre Company as a Production Assistant and Technician after gaining an Interest in Technical Theatre on work experience at Lincoln Theatre Royal and working on many School and Amateur Productions. Since then he has worked with various companies on a wide range of Productions, Events and Projects in the UK and Worldwide gaining a large experience of working in different types of Theatre & Entertainment areas including Theatre, Festivals, Open Air Touring, Schools, Village Halls, Hotels, Cruise Ships and SiteSpecific venues.
Jason is Delighted to be part of the team creating Rhubarb magic.
Neal Chattaway – Musician/Composer
Neal is our hugely talented musician and composer and has over 20 years experience in the business. This clever clogs plays a number of instruments, specialises in music technology and is a great asset to the Rhubarb team. (And yes ‘Neal‘ is spelled that way.) He is also a terrible darts player.
