Online Stories during COVID

James Hall Kimberly Macharia Librarian Lil

Welcome an exciting storytelling project set up for families using North Kesteven Children’s Centres, funded by The Comic Relief Community Fund.

Every month up to May 2021, Rhubarb Theatre and your Children Centre will be posting a pre-recorded story.  There will be a template you can download from their website to make linking craft.

Plus, we have funding to give the first 75 families a free copy of the book being told that month.  If you want a copy, get in contact and let us know.

Due to LOCKDOWN, we’ve been getting creative with how we tell our stories.

Luckily we’ve had some very supportive people to help us out. We’re adding all the time, and if you check out our Rhubarb Theatre Facebook page, you’ll find updates.  Here are some of the people who have commissioned us since COVID:

Lincoln Drill Hall, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, Arlington Arts Centre, Lincolnshire Chalk Stream Project and the Birdhouse Theatre.

Huge thanks to Arts Council England and The Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust for supporting us at this challenging time:

SHORT STORY VIDEO TASTERS – To give you a taster for these potty, fun Shorties why not check our recent short storytelling videos here:

Rhubarb Theatre can ‘Live Group Skype’ a story to you and invited friends OR create a personalised story – just for you.  Why not request a story for your special day now.
