Rhubarb Theatre was set up in November 2000 by professional actors Philip and Kirsty Mead as a drama resource for the community of Lincolnshire. Since then, we’ve moved from being a small part-time concern, to a full time professional touring company, specialising in performance for children and families and a Registered Charity.
We offer a diverse programme of theatre activities, both for education and entertainment and bring theatre directly to family centres, village halls, youth clubs, schools, art centres, heritage sites, museums and traditional theatres. Rhubarb have toured to hundreds of venues around the UK and were the first Lincolnshire- based theatre company to be accepted onto the Midlands Professional Rural Touring Scheme.
Our exciting and original adventures have entertained audiences of all ages, we’ve taken premieres to the nationally acclaimed SPARK Children’s Festival and Sydney Contemporary Art Gallery and have been wowing the crowds at Latitude & Glastonbury Festival annually since 2012.
We hope you enjoy looking around our site, and if you’d like to chat to us about how we can help you then we’d love to hear from you! You can get in touch via our contact page.
