Our Productions

Rhubarb Theatre likes to create new theatre. Many of our touring shows have been developed by devising, playing with props and having fun. We look at what we want to achieve and then set out to do it… even if it means learning to play a new instrument, work with masks or operating technology!!!

We try to make our shows on many levels so they can be enjoyed by children and adults, using a multitude of artistic devices including mask,puppetry, song, dance and physical play, to bring across the story in as creative manner as possible.

As we are so visual, our theatre is perfect for children with additional needs, who are stimulated by the playful, musical nature of our pieces. And also we reach those who do not speak English as their first language.

All of our productions are accompanied with linking workshops, allowing participants to work with professional facilitators and we will always try to meet your needs.
