We've been busily beavering away finding ways to bring back the Buzz Club and have linked up with Lincoln Drill Hall. They run the 'Butterfly Club' (there's a theme going on here), which are disco evenings that run every other month, for 16yr+ (however they are very flexible about age).
They are keen that these evenings should develop and this is where we come in. We would like to run 2 full days of Buzz Club on the weekend of 30 & 31 October 2012 from 10am-3pm.
In this time, we would like to work towards short pieces of music, dance and drama that could then be 'shared and shown'.
If this proves a sucess, which knowing your young people, I've no doubt it will be, we will then run more weekend workshops that contribute to the Butterfly Club in further months.

What is the Buzz Club
The Buzz Club delivers creative, original and theatrical experiences which stimulate children’s imaginations without forcing issues at them. Our multi-arts workshops are fun and accessible, encouraging the participants to lead and share ideas. All of the art produced is created through a devising process and therefore is always exciting and new.
With funding received during March of 2011 the Buzz Club was set up as a pilot project by Rhubarb Theatre & Brickbeat Recording Studio. The idea was to offer weekly and holiday arts clubs for children with additional needs across Lincolnshire.
Additionally we wanted to bring together a strong team of artists, develop their skills through working with other artists (and children with a wide range of disabilities), and form an excellent working practice where we could call upon one another’s services in future projects.
The Buzz Club has established an excellent name for itself in the pilot year. We have a clear vision of the organizational side, we have the tools, the artists and now we are keen for the club to develop and become an established service, rather than just a year of ‘funded fun’.
“I have seen positive change in everyone involved in the 'Buzz Club'”
